Bullies, Cool kids and Dorks

This morning I awoke with the realization of why I don't like the Republican party. It has nothing to do with the issues, we disagree on many of them, it has nothing to do with rhetoric, or slander per se, it has to do with the bullying.

The Republicans are the party of the cool kids, the ones who when they graduated high school wanted it all back, the way they were celebrated, the way they were special, the way the world was simple. Sarah Palin is the new face of that, she is the cool kid, the one everyone wished they could be in school. Now the voters can hope to be her by voting for her, it saddens me to realize that is what is going to happen this year, and sadly again in 12. Palin will be our next president, and the dorks, people like me, will be outraged, but let's face it, we don't control anything, the cool kids still do.

I wish it would be different, but when faced with fact after fact, Americans choose bullshit, they choose white and black. The Daily Show has shown clip after clip of hypocresy and I have no idea why they media outlets like ABC, FOX, MSNBC don't show these clips as part of their footage? Why is it too hard to dig things up? Why we want more honesty? because it makes things too tough to accept, it makes it too complicated.

Still a dork, and still wishing I didn't have to deal with the cool kids bullshit.
